DBS Bank Group Event
DBS Bank is a leading financial institution in Asia, known for its reliable services in banking, insurance, and wealth management. This bank also believes in the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and shared experiences. To strengthen these values, the company partnered with our Bali Group Organizer to create a special Bali Team Building program. The VW Safari Treasure Hunt Jatiluwih Expedition, held on 13 September 2025, became a journey of joy, culture, and unity for 19 participants from across the Asia Pacific region.
This Bali Treasure Hunt combined sightseeing, problem-solving, and collaboration in a unique way. From the starting point at Tui Blue Berawa to the green landscapes of Jatiluwih, every stage of the trip offered moments of excitement and reflection. In addition, every stop included treasure hunt challenges that encouraged teamwork and creativity. The program not only delivered unforgettable memories but also reinforced the spirit of DBS Bank’s people-first culture.
Starting Point: Hotel Pick-Up and Ice Breaking
The day began at Tui Blue Berawa, and right from the start, our Bali Group Organizer team welcomed all participants with warm smiles. In addition, the morning opened with an ice-breaking session, and as a result, the group quickly found energy and ease. Moreover, with fun games and short introductions, participants soon felt relaxed, and consequently, they were ready for the adventure ahead.
Afterward, once the balanced teams were formed, the convoy of VW Safari cars was introduced, and instantly, the colorful vintage vehicles captured everyone’s attention. Furthermore, excitement grew as the engines started, and therefore, the journey promised both discovery and teamwork. Meanwhile, the convoy set off through Bali’s charming countryside, and in fact, every road revealed a fresh scene to admire. The route passed traditional Balinese villages, and at the same time, it unfolded across rice terraces and scenic rural roads. Ultimately, the blend of culture, landscape, and camaraderie made the beginning of the journey both refreshing and unforgettable.
Scenic Stops: Culture, Coffee, and Challenges
Taman Ayun Temple
The first stop was Taman Ayun Temple, a cultural landmark that reflects the rich heritage of Bali. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and traditional architecture, the temple provided the perfect setting for a treasure hunt challenge. Teams worked together to solve clues while learning about Balinese culture. The mix of history and teamwork created both fun and meaningful experiences.
Coffee Plantation Visit
The next stop was a local coffee plantation. Here, participants learned about Bali’s famous coffee traditions while enjoying the natural surroundings. At this stop, the treasure hunt continued with games focused on creativity and problem-solving. Teams collaborated to complete tasks while sampling Bali’s unique coffee flavors. The atmosphere was relaxed yet engaging, creating a balance between leisure and teamwork.
Village Roads and Rice Fields
The convoy then passed through small villages and rice fields. These routes gave participants a closer look at rural life in Bali. Along the way, short challenges encouraged coordination and collaboration. The calm countryside atmosphere allowed the group to connect more deeply, not just with the environment but also with each other.
Jatiluwih Rice Terrace Experience
The final destination was Jatiluwih Rice Terrace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and naturally, the beauty of its vast green landscapes impressed every participant. In addition, the traditional irrigation system, known as subak, offered cultural depth and valuable lessons about unity. Moreover, the peaceful setting encouraged the group to reflect on their journey and prepare for the last treasure hunt activity. As a result, the combination of scenery, tradition, and teamwork created a powerful moment for everyone.
With the sunset casting golden light across the rice fields, the atmosphere grew even more inspiring, and consequently, the teams felt a stronger sense of connection. Furthermore, participants eagerly shared their experiences, and at the same time, they discussed what worked well in their team dynamics. In addition, they celebrated achievements with joy, and therefore, the session ended on a high note. Just as farmers must work together to manage the subak system, employees must also support one another, and similarly, teams that embrace unity naturally achieve greater success. Finally, the day closed with gratitude, learning, and unforgettable memories.
Event Goals and Customer Expectations
The goal of this Bali Team Building was to create stronger connections among DBS Bank participants from different Asia Pacific countries. The company wanted a program that combined fun, culture, and teamwork.
Our Bali Group Organizer designed the VW Safari Treasure Hunt Jatiluwih Expedition to fulfill these expectations:
Encourage teamwork through exciting clue-based games
Strengthen communication among participants from diverse backgrounds
Provide cultural learning experiences at Taman Ayun Temple and the coffee plantation
Offer relaxation and inspiration in Bali’s countryside and rice terraces

Unity through Adventure
The DBS Bank VW Safari Treasure Hunt Jatiluwih Expedition was more than just a day trip. Instead, it became an experience that blended culture, adventure, and team spirit. From the hotel pick-up and ice breaking, through the scenic ride in vintage VW Safari cars, and finally to the reflection at Jatiluwih, every stage flowed into the next and added both value and meaning.
Moreover, this Bali group activity clearly showed how Bali Team Building can turn ordinary days into extraordinary memories. With the constant support of our Bali Event Organizer, DBS Bank not only achieved its goals but also went beyond expectations. In addition, participants discovered the beauty of Bali’s countryside, while at the same time realizing the strength that grows from teamwork. Finally, as the group returned to Tui Blue Berawa, they carried not only photos and souvenirs but also lasting stories of laughter, collaboration, and unity. Therefore, the entire journey proved that when people share challenges and adventures, they naturally grow closer and stronger as a team.
