Guerlain Group Event
Guerlain Group chose Bali as the destination for their CSR activity on 03 September 2025. The French perfume, cosmetics, and skincare house, which is part of the LVMH group, is one of the oldest and most respected brands in the world. With a legacy of quality and elegance, Guerlain also carries strong values of care and responsibility.
For this reason, the Asia Pacific team of 36 participants gathered in Bali to join a special CSR program. The event was organized by Bali Group Organizer, which has more than 25 years of experience in creating meaningful Bali group activities. This time, the focus was not only on team bonding but also on giving back to the local community.
The chosen hotel was Pullman Bali Legian, a modern resort close to the beach. From there, the participants began their journey to one of the local orphanages. The aim was to connect with children through a cooking class that encouraged interaction, teamwork, and joy.
Journey to the Orphanage
On the morning of the event, the group gathered at Pullman Bali Legian. Excitement was in the air as the participants prepared for a new experience. Our Bali Event Organizer team coordinated the pickup and transfer smoothly, ensuring comfort during the ride.
When they arrived at the orphanage, the children greeted them with smiles and curiosity. The warm welcome created an instant connection. Before the cooking began, the facilitators gave a short briefing about the day’s schedule. This was followed by light ice breaking activities with the Guerlain Group participants. The session created laughter and positive energy, helping the team feel relaxed and ready to engage with the children during the cooking class.
Cooking Class with Children
After the warm-up, the main activity started. Participants were paired with children to join a hands-on cooking session. Simple menus were chosen so everyone could take part, regardless of skill level. The goal was to make the process fun and interactive.
As the session continued, the room filled with the sound of laughter, clattering utensils, and warm conversations. Participants guided the children through each step, but they also learned from the children’s creativity. The mix of cultures and ages created a unique energy. It was more than just cooking; it was a bridge of friendship.
Lunch Together
Once the cooking was done, everyone gathered to enjoy the food they had prepared. Sharing lunch was a moment of joy and pride. The participants sat with the children, exchanged stories, and celebrated the results of their teamwork. This simple act of eating together became a powerful reminder of how food can unite people.
Evaluation and Reflection
After lunch, the facilitators guided the group into a short evaluation session. Participants shared their impressions of the day. Many expressed how touched they were by the warmth of the children. Others highlighted how the activity reminded them of the value of teamwork, care, and gratitude.
The children also shared their thanks, creating an emotional close to the program. It was not about winners or competition. Instead, it was about kindness, sharing, and the joy of giving back.
Event Goals and Customer Expectations
The goals of the Guerlain CSR program were clear. First, the company wanted to give their team a meaningful experience beyond the office. The Bali CSR activity was designed to strengthen team bonds while also benefiting the community.
Second, the group expected the program to create genuine interaction with the children. By cooking together, they wanted to share time, laughter, and lessons. This activity created memories that were both emotional and impactful.
Third, Guerlain wanted the program to reflect their values as a global brand. With a history of elegance and excellence, they also believe in responsibility and care. This event gave the Asia Pacific team a chance to live those values in Bali.
Finally, the group wanted a balance of fun and purpose. While Bali Team Building often focuses on games and outdoor activities, this time it was about compassion. The participants left with a stronger bond not only with each other but also with the community they supported.
Why CSR Team Building in Bali Matters
CSR activities in Bali are growing in importance. They combine the island’s natural beauty with the opportunity to support local communities. For international groups like Guerlain, it provides a chance to connect deeper with Bali beyond tourism.
Cooking with children in an orphanage gave the Guerlain Group a direct way to make a difference. It was simple, interactive, and full of meaning. At the same time, it allowed the participants to build teamwork skills in a real-world context. Instead of just competing in games, they worked together to bring joy to others.
Lasting Memories in Bali
The Guerlain CSR cooking class at the orphanage became more than just an activity. It became a memory of giving, sharing, and connecting. For the participants, it was a reminder that true luxury also means having the ability to give back. For the children, it was a day of joy that showed they are cared for and valued.
Our Bali Group Organizer team was honored to support Guerlain’s journey. With over 25 years of experience, we know that every event carries a story. This one told a story of care, compassion, and teamwork. Guerlain Group proved that business success can go hand in hand with kindness and community.
