Group Event History
By embarking on the Global Village Trip, a program created by Habitat for Humanity Indonesia, participants combine spectacular Bali Adventure Activities with important CSR work. A joint CSR project built a surgical house in Bali’s northernmost region. In addition, the Bali Group Organizer created a customized program to increase the participant’s interaction with the island’s offers.
The trip included successfully constructing a home in Gitgit Village, Singaraja Regency, with the assistance of volunteers, primarily from the United States and participants from Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and Australia. Participation from the local community was essential to the process and helped the volunteers complete the project on time.
Beyond their CSR efforts, Bali Group Organizer planned several captivating events that allowed the group to experience Bali’s breathtaking scenery and exhilarating adventures fully.
Global Village Group Activities
The group started leisure time with a unique outdoor adventure: rafting down the Ayung River near Ubud. They travelled from their hotel in Lovina to the Ayung River for an exciting 2-hour white-water rafting trip, traversing an 8-kilometer length of breathtaking scenery. After that, a tour of Ubud’s tourist attractions, including the Ubud Palace, Ubud Market, and Monkey Forest, revealed the true essence of Balinese country life. The group checked into Sanur Beach Hotel to end the day.
Batur Mount Climbing Expedition
The group embarked on an adventurous hike up the imposing Batur Mount in Kintamani. This active volcano adorns Indonesia’s scenery on the second day, venturing into the heart of nature. Despite being challenging, the ascent promised a magnificent reward: the ethereal splendour of daybreak vistas and expansive views that reached as far as the eye could see.
After reaching the mountain’s peak, a different kind of enjoyment awaited—a feast for the senses in the tranquil Batur Natural Hot Spring. The soothing contrast between the chilly mountain air and the springs’ warm embrace helped create a quiet retreat despite the harsh surroundings.
With spirits raised, the trip continued to Kintamani, where a pleasant lunch was taken while taking in the breathtaking scenery. After a day filled with stunning natural sights and life-changing events, the party returned to the welcoming arms of the Sanur Beach Hotel as the day slowly gave way to darkness. There, a peaceful overnight stay awaited them.
Marine Adventures and Uluwatu Tours
The party went on an exhilarating marine adventure at Tanjung Benoa on the third day, taking part in glass-bottom boat excursions, a tour to Turtle Island, and snorkelling. The thrill continued after lunch with the Uluwatu Sunset Tour, and the day was concluded with an overnight stay at the hotel provided by Bali Group Organizer.
