Bali Successfully Hosted BBTF 2018 – Bali and Beyond Travel Fair
BALI NEWS: Bali and Beyond Travel Fair (BBTF 2018) was held in Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Nusa Dua, Bali, 26 – 30 June 2018. This year BBTF highlighted the theme “Exploring The Colors of Indonesia”. BBTF 2018 will invite experts who will discuss opportunities, trends by industry insights and highlight Indonesia’s cultural diversity. This travel fair brings together between sellers and buyers in one forum each year. It is the fifth year of BBTF, an event initiated and organized by the Association of the Indonesian Tours and Travel Agencies (ASITA) Bali.
Successful of Bali and Beyond Travel Fair
According to the tourism Minister, “The success of Bali & Beyond Travel Fair since its launch is a synergy of Penta-helix that we are working on. This further motivates us to fully support BBTF 2018, with an outstanding track record and has proven with great job. It’s performance as a leading travel exhibition in Indonesia,” he said. Meanwhile, the BBTF Chairman, I Ketut Ardana said that BBTF 2018 is proud to be part of the growth of tourism in Indonesia. And also, the people has recognized as a leading International Travel and Tourism Exhibition.
“We have chosen the theme of Exploring the Colors of Indonesia this year. It is because, we believe in the potential of Indonesia where Bali serves as a market place,” he said. According Ardana, BBTF 2018 brings 320 buyers from 41 countries and 68 trade buyers. They have come from 63 domestic buyers presented by Garuda Indonesia and 5 trade buyers. Meanwhile, about 241 sellers including from 3 new countries that will participate. Moreover, 36 international media and dozens of media national and local also attend.
Worldwide Bayer in Bali and Beyond Travel Fair
This year, most participating tour operators from Australia reach 23 companies, India (19), United Kingdom (15) and France (11). The rest are tourism companies from China, Germany, Croatia, Brazil, Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, USA, Spain, Israel, Netherlands, Poland, Tunisia, Canada, Chile, Japan, South Korea, Ghana and countries in the region Southeast Asia.
Since the increasing demand of foreign tourists who want to feel the life in the middle of rural Bali, this event has featured 9 tourist villages in Bali. The purpose of the involvement of tourist villages in BBTF 2018 event is introducing it to domestic and foreign tourists. It will add the potential economic growth in the village. Today, more and more home stays in the village have growth to accommodate tourists.
